Background:
I've done triathlons, duathlons, adventure races, running races, bike races, etc. They are hard and fun in their own right. But the biggest race I've
been involved in thus far has lasted for the last 4 years. That is running
my own business: http://www.bullandcrowley.com. My life, as anyone else who
breathes, is challenging enough with a family, church, kids sports, etc. Add
to that running my own business and life can get pretty stressful and
somewhat chaotic. Working out smartly, per Kirk's assistance, helps me to
deal with the day to day and have something great come out of it.
Distance:
Favorite distance is anything that's not an out and back.
Favorite Race:
Favorite race so far has been keeping up with my kids, but aside from that
I've been enjoying non-traditional races lately, such as short adventure
races and MTB races.
Favorite Discipline and why:
Bike -- love to hammer!
Testimonial:
Kirk has helped me tremendously with my training. I have a bad habit of
going out there day after day and hammering it everyday. Rest?! What's a
rest day? By Friday I'd be spent and not ready to take on the training
rides for the weekend. Furthermore I'd be so brain-drained that I didn't
feel like doing anything as it wasn't fun anymore.
